By accessing or using The Star Catalog website and directory services ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including practitioners who list their services and seekers who browse the directory.

The Star Catalog is a community-built review and discovery platform for esoteric and spiritual practitioners. Anyone can submit a practitioner, write a review, or browse the directory — no sign-in required for reading.

The Star Catalog is a directory and review service only. We do not provide esoteric services ourselves, intermediate transactions between users, process payments, endorse or recommend any practitioner, or guarantee outcomes of any service engagement. All practitioner listings represent user submissions, not our endorsements.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

The Service is intended for personal use and the promotion of genuine esoteric and spiritual practices. Commercial use of the Service beyond listing a genuine practice is not permitted without our express written consent.

By submitting a listing to The Star Catalog, practitioners agree to the following:

• Accuracy: All information submitted must be accurate, complete, and not misleading
• Genuine practice: Practitioners represent that they genuinely perform the services described in their listing
• No guaranteed results: Practitioners may not claim guaranteed outcomes or results from esoteric services. Such claims are grounds for immediate removal
• Honesty in pricing: Pricing information must be accurate. Hidden fees or post-engagement escalation of charges are prohibited
• Compliance with law: All services must comply with applicable laws in the practitioner's jurisdiction and the jurisdiction of the client
• No harmful practices: Practitioners may not engage in psychological manipulation, fear-based coercion, or practices designed to exploit vulnerable individuals

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal of the listing.

By using The Star Catalog to find and contact practitioners, seekers acknowledge the following:

• All transactions and engagements with practitioners occur directly between the seeker and practitioner. The Star Catalog is not a party to any such engagement
• The Star Catalog does not guarantee the quality, outcome, or safety of any service provided by listed practitioners
• Seekers are responsible for their own due diligence, including verifying credentials, reading reviews, and exercising personal judgment before engaging any practitioner
• Reviews submitted by seekers must be honest and based on genuine personal experience

Users of the Service may not:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information to the directory
• Manipulate reviews, ratings, or upvote counts through artificial means
• Use the Service to promote illegal activities
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our staff
• Attempt to scrape, copy, or systematically download directory data
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our prior written consent
• Impersonate another practitioner or individual
• Submit listings for services that do not genuinely exist

By submitting content to The Star Catalog (including listing information, profile photos, reviews, and correspondence), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, store, and use that content in connection with operating the Service.

You represent that you have the right to grant this licence and that your content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is inappropriate for the Service.

The Star Catalog website, including its design, layout, graphics, and original content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

Practitioner listing content remains the intellectual property of the respective practitioner, subject to the licence granted above.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listing information is accurate, complete, or current.

The Star Catalog expressly disclaims any responsibility for the services provided by listed practitioners, for the outcomes of any spiritual or esoteric work, or for any losses arising from transactions between users.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Star Catalog and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including losses arising from reliance on directory listings or from engagements with practitioners.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed £100 (one hundred pounds sterling).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service or remove listings at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or that we determine is harmful to other users, practitioners, or the integrity of the platform.

Practitioners whose listings are removed for fraud or misconduct may not re-apply to the directory.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
